Ordering By Phone or Fax
CookiePots does have a secure
website, but if you feel uncomfortable using
your credit card over the internet, you can still place your order
by phone. Our toll free number 1-866-533-4438. Our customer service
staff will be happy to take your order information over the phone.
Late/Delayed/Early Deliveries
We make every effort
to get your gift to the recipient on time and our track record is
excellent. Occasionally, however,
delays occur. It could be weather related, it could be a
carrier back up, or it could just be an unusually busy day for Fed
Ex. Due to the fact that these are circumstances that we can't control, we do not
offer reimbursement for late deliveries. If you place your order on
line, and provide a valid e-mail address, you will be sent
tracking information for
delivery on the day that your gift ships. The progress of the
package can be checked at any hour of the day by clicking on the
link provided in your shipping notification e-mail. We provide a Shipping
Map
and specific details about when a product will ship and how long it will take to
arrive. Please call if you are unsure about when your order would
arrive or what shipping method you should choose - we would be happy to assist
you in selecting the appropriate delivery method. Please also
note that your "Preferred Arrival Date" can only be achieved if you
select the correct shipping method. Our Shipping Section can
give you additional information if you are in doubt. If you choose regular
delivery and your destination is 3 days away, then your gift will be
shipped to arrive the third day after shipping (the day shipped
doesn't count as a travel day).
Occasionally, especially with
2-Day Services, your gift COULD arrive one day early. This is
not something that we can control. Although it happens in only
about 3% of deliveries, it does happen. If your gift arrives
one day early, and this would make you "come unglued" - please
upgrade your order to Next Day Delivery - this method allows us to
ship it the day before and therefore control your delivery date.
Absolutely no refunds are given for gifts that arrive a day early
that have not been sent Next Day.
Shipping

shipping details. This section contains a map and a chart that
illustrates how long it will take for your order to arrive
depending on which delivery service you choose.
Lost Packages
Our deliveries are all handled by either Federal
Express or UPS. You will be sent a tracking number which enables you
to follow the "progress" of your package. If the package
is not received, and the tracking number shows "delivered", we will need
to file a claim on your behalf with the carrier. To start the
process, simply send us an e-mail with: Your order number, the date
you placed your order, and what the circumstances of your claim.
Send e-mail to
info@cookiepots.com. You will receive an e-mail copy when the
claim is entered and also an e-mail from Fed Ex when the claim is
settled. Settlement for legitimately lost packages normally takes
between 10 and 15 business days. At the conclusion of a
successful
claim, you can either choose to have the settlement credited to the
card you used for your initial purchase, or you can opt to have the
same item reshipped. We MUST be notified within 7 days (after
"delivered" notification is sent) of a non-delivery in order to have
any hope of locating package or earning reimbursement with Fed Ex.
After that time the matter cannot be pursued and we will not be able
to refund your purchase.
Please be aware that Fed Ex no longer
automatically obtains signatures on Residential deliveries.
They will leave the package if no one is home. If you do
not want your package left, please let us know and for an
additional $3.50 we will inform Fed Ex that they must get a
signature before leaving the package.
Substitutions
Every effort, and we really mean
every effort, is made to prepare your order as close to the
displayed image as possible. Occasionally, however, it's just
not possible due to out of stock situations with our various
suppliers or unusually high demand
on a particular component. When this happens we reserve the right to
substitute items that are similar in nature to the advertised
component.
Returns
CookiePots really wants you to be
happy with your purchase, so if you have any questions about our
gifts, please feel free to call us and ask before you order. Edible
items are nonrefundable. Refunds on non-edible gifts will
only be applied if the gift is
returned in pristine and completely saleable condition. Accepted
non-edible returned gifts will be assigned a 20% restocking
charge.
Shipping charges are always nonrefundable and return shipping
charges are at the expense of the buyer. Personalized products may not be returned. No credits or refunds on packages shipped more than
14 days
earlier.
We
double check all orders leaving CookiePots to ensure that the gifts
sent contain all options that were requested. If your order
contained multiple items and you discover that an item is missing,
please contact us in writing (e-mails are absolutely fine) immediately so that we may
view the weight of package when shipped and determine where shortage
occurred so that we can investigate your claim.
Damages
We are experts at shipping our
products and have an extremely low rate of damages. However,
occasionally it does occur. If your product arrives damaged,
please contact us immediately so that we can start the claim process
with the carrier.
